Assume a leading role in the areas of reporting and financial analysis, SEC and financial reporting, and receive the opportunity to be involved in special projects work, including reporting and analysis with internal departments, due diligence, tax, consolidations, month-end, quarter-end and year-end responsibilities.

Candidates must have an Accounting Degree as well as 8+ years of substantial and progressive accounting experience, preferably within Public Accounting and/or Retail organization.

This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in controlling inventory shortage and asset losses for a major retailer.  In conjunction with stores, you will develop and implement effective shortage programs and achieve inventory control objectives.

Key responsibilities include analyzing store, central and financial data to identify shortage issues, developing solutions to resolve identified deficiencies, preparing shortage control reports and recommendations for management analysis, conducting shortage control, systems and financial audits, acting as the liaison between stores and the central organization.
